The Chidambarettes proved their excellence with 100% success in the Board Exams of classes X and XII.In Std XII, 1 centum in Computer Science and in Std X, 4 in Mathematics and 1in Social Science.The students of Std XII secured meritorious ranks in National level Competitive exams like English Olympiad, UTSE and Reasoning Skill Test.

Our impressive yoga achievers won many awards and accolades in International, National and State level competitions.
Dream came true when our students achieved first place in Under-14 category in South Zone Yoga Championship and were qualified for the National Level Competitions.

Their victorious journey continued in the accomplishment of First place in Under-14 category in CBSE National Level Yoga Championship held in Ghaziabad. The celebration of honoring the National Level Achievers and awarding them with Appreciation certificates was held on 4th August 2024 at Nehru Stadium, Chennai, organized by Tamil Nadu Government. The achievers were honoured by the State Minister of Youth Welfare and Sports Mr. Udhayanithi Stalin and the Minister of School Education Mr. Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi.

Our charismatic Chidambarettes have exhibited extraordinary talent and won medals and shields in various sports events.
In MSSC Table Tennis match organized by our PSC School on 3rd August 2024, our dexterous players hit the jackpot by winning the championship.In MSSC Throw Ball match held at Sun India Public School, Sattur, our skillful sport stars under-14 category emerged as winners with flying colours.The extracurricular activities of our school increase self-confidence and encourage positive behaviour among the students.

To provide a much-needed break from the academic rigour, Summer Camp was organized from 2nd May to 22nd May 2024 to offer a wide range of activities like Aerobics, Board Games, Pottery, Rubix cube, Art and Craft etc., allowing the students to recharge and refresh their minds, an opportunity to build social skills like teamwork, problem-solving and critical thinking.

This year’s Sports camp was conducted twice, from March 27 till April 14 and from April 24 to May 13. Chidambarettes had a chance to mingle with KGHS players. An attractive jersey and nutritious supplements like milk, egg, bananas, millet porridge were provided.

Night-stay at school was arranged for classes VI, VII and VIII to improve adaptability, and to offer ample opportunities to interact and form stronger relationship with their peers and teachers. Speech craft was conducted for effective public speaking for class VIII.

No Book Day is followed on Saturdays to focus on experiential learning and to show that a day without books can still be enriched with learning opportunities, stimulating their creative skills.Title and Author – a Treasure Hunt in library, Snake and Ladder, preparation of Seed Ball, Gallery Walk, Guess the Personality are some of the captivating and thought-provoking activities on this significant day.

In all the classrooms of main school campus white boards have been fixed to enhance effective and eco-friendly learning environment integrated with technology that supports students’ success. The cement floor was changed into tiled floor and a raised platform for teachers was constructed in all the classrooms to adopt a dynamic and professional teaching style.A well-furnished staff room with AC was set up on the first floor of Senior Secondary Block to bestow a positive and supportive workplace.

Resource Hubs were established with new computer systems and AC to facilitate the teacher’s reference for curriculum development through instructional designs.
The interior of multimedia rooms was revamped and Air-Conditioned.
New computer systems, Rolling chairs, Projectors, an EPSON Printer, a smart phone and a new Freezer for kitchen were purchased.
Regular subscription to receives elective choice of standard journals and magazines was made to stay up-to-date with current affairs, to expand knowledge to face competitive exams in future and predominantly to reinforce reading skills.

Well-equipped smart classrooms with ACs and LCD projectors were turned out to be a structured learning environment in Town Campus to empower the students to achieve their goals in future through intensive coaching.
Furthermore, a variety of colourful toys for Pre KG kids, White boards for classrooms, new books for library, and smart phone for office use were purchased for Town Campus.
The objective of appointing the Students’ Council is to provide a platform to the students to develop leadership qualities and to plan events that contribute to the school community welfare. Before the commencement of every programme there will be a discussion with cabinet members to get their suggestions and recommendations on behalf of the entire student community of PSC.

The 22nd Students’ Executive Council Election was held on 18th June 2024. Students from Std VI toXII and the teachers cast their votes with great excitement in ballot sheets. The result was announced on 19th June 2024.The Investiture Ceremony took place with great splendour on 21st June 2024. The Member of Parliament Thiru. B. Manickam Tagore presided over the function and motivated the chidambarettes through his inspiring speech. Our school’s 50th year Logo was released by him on the same occasion.

To commemorate the Golden Jubilee year of PSC, a Royal and Resplendent Rally was organized on 23rd June 2024 from Town Campus to Main School. The Honourable Chief Guest Dr.V.P. Jeyaseelan IAS, District Collector of VNR presided over the inaugural function and flagged off to commence the Rally. The members of our Managing Board, Retired Pedagogues, PSC Alumnae, the Staff and the Students proudly took part in the Rally. Some of the regular events and programs provide an avenue for the development of knowledge and various skills.

The commendable event “Alumna of the week” is conducted regularly and our prestigious Alumnae are invited to motivate and inspire our students to prepare for future career and to reach the Zenith of success in their life.
Career Guidance Programme, Speech Craft and Cyber Security Awareness programme are conducted for our students. Also Gavel’s Club for Students and Toastmaster’s Club for Teachers have been started to enhance the communication skill.
To maintain a strong connection to our cultural heritage and to promote respect for our Mother Tongue, வளர்தமிழ்மன்றம் for students and செம்மொழிச்சாரல் for teachersare conducted.

With education becoming a dynamic domain, various training programmes and Capacity Building Programmes are organized for our teachers to enable them to face the challenges of today’s learning environment and contribute to organizational growth more effectively. To enable the teachers to enhance professional development, to stay updated with latest educational trends and to share the resources Collaborative Forum with teachers of other institutions was organized in our school.

Discipline is foundational to the holistic development of students, helping them grow into responsible, respectful, and successful individuals. Adhering to school rules fosters a sense of responsibility and respect among students. The cabinet members and class representatives volunteer themselves to maintain disciplinary guidelines with ethical behaviour of the students.

Canteen was closed to avoid unhealthy eatables. Instead nutritious snacks are provided during the morning interval to ensure well-nourished eating habits.

This Golden Jubilee Year is a year of pride for the Management, Staff, Students, Alumni and the entire community associated with PSC, showcasing the enduring legacy of an institution dedicated to shape the future of the students through Quality Education.
